SAPS (advanced systems for the sun protection) was established in 1991 by its present managing director, Rony Sutton, who started his new experience as export and sales manager for some of the major companies in this field.

Since its earlier days of activity, Saps focused on the development and the distribution of systems for insect screens. In 1993 Saps joins the Genius Group and starts distributing worldwide the most innovate insect screen system of all times: the rollup flyscreens supplied in pre-assembled bars and components kits. The market development of flyscreen systems in every part of the world would not have been possible without this simple and at the same time perfect new concept.

In the following years the Genius Group has repeatedly given evidence of its pioneering spirit introducing some of the innovations that have in the meantime become a standard, in primis the brake (speed reducer for all retractable systems).

Our task in the coming years remain the same: to develop products that are friendly to use, easy to assemble and to install. The Genius Insect Screen will remain the most natural way to protect your family and your environment from insects of all kinds.

In order to offer high level service and short delivery terms, the Genius Group is structured into 3 production sites for a total of 16,000 square meters of covered surface: two located in Italy, in Sorbolo and Bondeno and, since 2009, the new factory located in Izmir(Turkey), destined to the local and regional markets.
